Why did Pat and I spend months researching and writing our latest book on Cults and Isms? Here’s why: in response to readers’ requests, like this one from a street evangelist:
Hello Alan and Pat, hope all is well with you both. I don't know if you remember me but I spoke with you, Alan, in Chesterfield (England). The reason I'm contacting you is to say how helpful the tables of truth are and to see if you can produce a couple more. I do a lot of street evangelism and constantly come into contact with Muslims and Catholics, but also Jehovas Witnesses and Mormons. My question is, can you produce tables of truth for the latter two? I know it is cheeky and maybe I should do it myself but I think you would do a better job! Anyway, keep up the good work and I pray the Lord will continue to meet your every need. in Jesus, John
Well, we did the research, and very tedious a lot of it was too! But the result is a clear guide to the errors of many of the false faiths and cults, set out in a way anybody can understand and with the Bible as its base.
So if anybody disputes our Tables of Truth, which set out Bible truth versus the lies of the cultists, they’d better take it up with a Higher Authority than us!
This is a reference book that should be in many church libraries and we are doing a good offer at present, coupling it with my new DVD on Cults and Isms: True or False?
