Time to repent, not to march! by Pat Franklin

I feel sick.  Last night I watched the news showing millions of the most privileged women in all of human history out on the streets marching.   Had they seen the light and were they now demanding that we stop killing unborn babies?  No,  the pro-life  women were not welcome in the marches.  Were they demanding that degrading pornography be outlawed?  No.  They want more rights!  What was going on in the homes they left behind?  I wonder.  I used to hate it when my mother was away from the house for even a few hours.

Western women have it so good!  We live in warm houses.  We get educations.  We have medical care.  There is food on our tables.  We have clothes to wear and shoes on our feet.  We live with higher standards than all the women who ever lived before us in human history.  But we want MORE!  We are so unsatisfied.  We cannot even stand to allow our new government officials to get on with their jobs.  We are big babies, squalling and yelling and crying and demanding our own way.  We are absolutely disgusting!

And the scary thing is…it is all coming to an end!  We are in the End Times, dear friends.   The Great Tribulation is just around the corner.  The Lord Jesus told us the signs to watch for, and they are ALL here!  It is time to get on our knees and repent, not time to go out on the streets making demands!

We have offended God, big time.  He has sent people to warn us, his great men, but no one wants to listen.  He has sent terrible, catastrophic weather events, but no one connects the dots.

God is angry.  We do not thank or praise Him; we just make more demands.  And how we love to use His holy name in blasphemy on almost every TV program.  How dare we.  We defy Him constantly.  We do not beg His forgiveness for our vile sins.

Dear friends, it is not time to march; it is time to kneel.  It is not time to yell;  it is time to weep.  God has given us so much, and we have disgraced ourselves.  I am pointing at myself as well as the marching masses.  At one time I would have been cheering the marching women, for I too was a liberal and agreed with the entire liberal agenda.  But something amazing happened.  Through a whole set of circumstances I came to believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior.

Yesterday at church we sang ‘To God be the Glory’.  Yes, and in that song are two lines that apply to me:  ‘The vilest offender who truly believes; that moment from Jesus a pardon receives.’

I am that ‘vilest offender’, but in 1981 God gave me the faith to believe in Jesus, His beloved Son, and this is the promise the Lord Jesus made:  ‘If you believe in Me, you HAVE eternal life.’  (gospel of John, chapter 6 verse 47)  This golden promise applies to every person who puts their trust in Jesus.

If only those marching women would turn to the Lord Jesus and open their hearts to Him, what a change He would bring to their lives!

They would never again make a single demand.  They would overflow with praise and gratitude to the Lord.  They would then know that they are breathing God's air, and every breath they take is only possible because He is allowing it.

A prayer:  Oh dear Father, please open their eyes.  Please forgive us for our horrible sins.  Please turn our nations around.  Please help us to stop killing our babies.  Please forgive us for constantly abusing Your holy name.  Please open the hearts of our people to repent and turn to Your holy Son Jesus.  In Jesus' holy name, amen.

Therefore, the woman outght to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. (The angels witnessed Eve being deceived and leading Adam into sin. Now they watch with interest to see how women are behaving. Very few women in the western world take this scripture to heart.)
