Yoga wasn't bad enough. Now we have tai chi, as the dark supernatural continues to invade our exercise time.

Yoga wasn't bad enough. Now we have tai chi, as the dark supernatural continues to invade our exercise time.

Tens of thousands of people are now going to tai chi classes, completely ignorant of the occult, eastern religious origin of these exercises.  Tai chi is an ancient Chinese martial art cultivating what they call Qi or chi, which they believe is the 'life force'. It has to do with their yin-yang concepts and was practised not only for health benefits, but for spiritual insights.  Its roots are spiritual, supernatural.  It is not only physical exercise - like yoga, the exercises can open the door to spiritual, supernatural experiences.

There is a good supernatural and a bad supernatural.  The good supernatural consists of God, Jesus and the Bible which tells you how to get to Heaven.  To find the good supernatural, read the Bible and put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The bad supernatural consists of Satan, his demons (fallen angels) and their constant attempts to keep you  from knowing and loving the Lord Jesus.   Yoga and tai chi are two forms of the bad supernatural.  Yoga and tai chi are anti-Christian, and yet are often practised  in church halls, particularly in England, and they are particularly popular with women.

I (Pat) was in a yoga class in 1981, the year I became a believer in Jesus Christ.  I  quit yoga as soon as I realised that the exercises were acts of pagan worship (like the Salute to the Sun exercise, which originally was an act of worship to the 'sun god', a pagan entity).  The 10 minutes of relaxation and meditation at the end of the class was even worse, a classic way of opening the human spirit to occult, demonic influences (when the leader says things like 'clear your mind and follow the light' ....or whatever).  Jesus never tells us to clear our mind.  The Bible tells us to 'gird up the loins of your mind.'  In other words, keep a sharp mind - use your noodle - reason - think!  Use the brains God gave you!

My question is this.  If you are a Christian and you want to join an exercise class, why would you want to align yourself with a system of movements which has its roots in pagan, occult religion?  Why?  Can you not show some loyalty to the Lord Jesus Christ?  Do some exercises at home!   Put on a praise tape or CD and ask the Lord to help you do the exercises you need to stay healthy.  Or get a Rosemary Conley video and exercise with her in front of a TV.

Eastern religion and eastern exercise systems are a no-no.  Come on!  Think!  Don't touch yoga or tai chi! They can open the door of the dark supernatural, the realm of demons, and those evil beings would just love to wreak havoc in your life.  Don't forget, Satan comes as an angel of light, so the adherents of yoga and tai chi will defend those church hall classes and see nothing but good in them.

The dark realm of the psychic, the occult, is subtle and it is dangerous.  It is the realm of Satan and the Lord Jesus tells us that Satan comes to steal, to kill and to destroy.  He wants to steal your health, not improve it with tai chi.  He wants to destroy your family and kill you and he wants your soul in Hell.  These things are true and they are real.  Playing with the occult is playing with fire, with dynamite.  You might get away with it for awhile, and even seem to get some benefit from it, but Satan is not playing. He is in deadly earnest.  He wants your body dead and your soul in Hell, and he will use any means he can to get you into the occult, the dark supernatural, and lead you away from the Bible and the Lord Jesus. *

Remember, there is a narrow way and a broad way.  The narrow way is the only way to Heaven.  The Lord Jesus told us about it in the gospel of Matthew, Chapter 7.  'Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.  For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few there be who find it.'

We get through that narrow gate when we invite the Lord Jesus to come into our hearts and forgive our sins.  If you have never done that, I strongly advise you to get on your knees now and do it now.  Or do you choose to reject Jesus and maybe go to a tai chi class?  The choice is yours and you are the one who will face the consequences.

As Joshua once said:  'Choose this day who you will serve.' (Joshua 24:15)  And as Moses urgently advised:  'Choose life...' (Deuteronomy 30:19)   And don't forget the prophet Elijah:  'How long will you hesitate between two opinions?  If the LORD is God, follow Him...  (1 Kings 18:21)

* Footnote:  I tried to warn a woman about tai chi not long after I wrote this article.  I even pushed a copy through her mother's letterbox,  I seem to remember (her mother was something in the United Reformrd church in England).  The woman was actively trying to recruit other women (including me) to join her at the tai chi class.  She rejected everything I said.  She seemed quite healthy and even extremely fit.  A few months later she suddenly died in her sleep.  I never heard the cause of death.  Her mother soon followed.  I am writing this in sorrow.  How I wish she had listened and read the Bible and turned her life over to the Lord Jesus.

'But when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.' (People who say the rosary repeat the 'Hail Mary' prayer 53 times and the 'Our Father' six times.)
